Mendelssohn Trio in C minor, Op. 66 - Finale - Allegro appassionato
Incredibly passionate Finale, also wonderfully virtuosic especially for the piano, practically symphonic in scope. Listen for the beautiful Doxology midway through and again in full glorious splendor near the end.

Brahms Trio No 2 in C major, Op. 87 - Allegro
Mature Brahms - grand, sunny, robust and at times touching.

Arensky Trio in D minor, Op. 32 - Allegro moderato
Arensky was a student of Tchaikovsky. This work is darkly, beautifully romantic and very virtuosic.

Ravel Trio in A minor - Modere
Shimmeringly beautiful music. Gorgeous virtuosic writing in the Impressionist style.

Smetana Trio in G minor, Op. 15 - Moderato assai
Wonderful passionate virtuoso writing for all three instruments, particularly the piano part which was written with Liszt in mind. Very moving work with an explosive ending.

Dvorak Trio in F minor, Op. 65 - Poco adagio
Lovely string writing. This trio, Opus 65, in many ways was Dvorak's greatest and most difficult.

Haydn Trio in C major, Hob. XV, 27 - Presto
Glittering very fast light-hearted romp. Representative of Haydn's best writing for this genre.

Bloch Nocturne
This little Nocturne is music of great spiritual expression. Bloch was an American composer who died in 1959.
